When i run configure it prints out Error: Unable to find gnomeConf.sh.
Now gnomeConf.sh only exists in gnome1 so i don't know why bzedit is said to run with gnome 2 any help very appreciated : )

bzedit is old, and supported, it does not work in gnome 1.

yeah i know but im using gnome2 and it still dies

sorry I meant it only works in gnome 1, not gnome 2.
basically do not attempt to build or use it. it will not do what you you think it will do.
it is years and years dead.
