bzfs.cxx source file is .. big

Post by learner »

Is there some particular reason that the bzfs source is all in one file? Seems rather prone to a lot of bad practices and is rather .. unorganized.

I only bring it up because I have a rather sizeable patch to make that will add a couple hundred lines.. It's at over 8000 lines as is.

Am I missing something, or is there actually some tangible benefit?
(i.e. non-personal preference)

It has simply grown over time. After g2, we should split it into a dozen parts or so.

Ah, this is good to hear. Then I can leave all of my new code neatly separated out as is.. :)
