VC8 latest CVS

Post by huw » Wed Mar 29, 2006 5:23 pm

A lot of updates occured in CVS recently.

When compiling CVS in VC8 this error occurs when compiling VC8:

Code: Select all

3>bzfs : warning PRJ0009 : Build log could not be opened for writing.
3>Make sure that the file is not open by another process and is not write-protected.
3>Compiling...
3>TextChunkManager.cxx
3>c1xx : fatal error C1083: Cannot open source file: '..\..\src\bzfs\TextChunkManager.cxx': No such file or directory
3>Build log was saved at "file://c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\bzflag\Copy of bzflag\win32\VC8\release_modern_p3\BuildLog.htm"
3>bzfs - 1 error(s), 1 warning(s)
This may have something do with the fact that VC71 files were updated but the VC8 files weren't :(

Any ideas?

they should be updated now.

there is only one developer that uses VC8 and he's usualy rather busy at school. so it's not our mainline windows development platform, and can be left un-updated for a time. Basicly I have to manualy update the VC8 XML with the changes.

I now getting fatal errors when playing using latest CVS.

there are bugs. we can't get to CVS to fix them. again you'll just have to wait.

it's part of development... you don't have to make a post on every little thing.
