There are servers that allow rogue geno, there are servers that dont. But in my opinion if rogue geno is enabled, the deaths from the geno should also be recorded in the personal stats list (so the score kills-deaths). For the moment only the kills (so the one that shot some one with it) gets recorded and the deaths dont.

On the contrary on "normal" team geno, the deaths do get recorded.

Why is there a difference? rogue isnt supposed to be a team but if the rogue geno is enabled it should "look" at it as a team if the geno flag is used.

ideas/thoughts/reasons?

I would assume that the difference comes from the fact that rogue geno uses server-initiated kills (from the plugin API) while normal geno kills are hardcoded into the client.

It's a protocol issue, yet another thing that will be fixed/fixable for 2.1.
Optimism is just a milder alternative to denial.

I would really like to see the kills subtracted from a rogue who suicides.
You shoot someone else, you keep the kills as it works now.
