About registration

Post by Megatron » Wed Jul 04, 2007 7:51 pm

Hi all, my first post :D

I registered as Megatron in the forum, but in the game I can use others callsigns or only "Megatron"? And if I want to use more nicknames in game?
The game recognize me when I enter?

Bye all and thanks :)

Of course BZFlag will allow you to use other callsigns. But BZFlag will only identify you if you use "Megatron" - that is because it is just like logging in here. You can't use any callsign, and your password, and expect to be logged in. :)

Some servers require global registration, so I suggest you stick with "Megatron" at all times. This also helps you build a good reputation as people will recognize the same callsign over and over.

You may also create multiple accounts here, if you wish, provided they all have a unique e-mail address.

Also, some servers - Hepcat for instance - only allow registered players to talk.

Most of the time, you can not talk on a Hepcat server if you are not registered. Mostly because of problems with spammers.

The problems with spammers have moved on I think now.
