I have always wondered this (although there is probably an obvious answer I just overlooked...):

In the serverlist, the names of different servers have different colors. I have seen various shades of yellow, red, green, and purple. What do these mean? I originally thought it might have something to do with how good your connection is with it, but I'm not sure.

Also, before the server address, there is an * that is differently colored for different servers, and three letters, J F R, that are sometimes highlighted and sometimes not.

So, what is the purpose of these? Thanks.

IIRC, it is how many shots the server has enabled.

J = Whether or not jumping is enabled on the server.
R = Whether or not ricochet is enabled on the server.
F = I believe it's whether or not there are superflags on the server.

I'm really not sure but i could imagine, that the colors stand for the playstile the server supplies.

Lets see if i can get this right.

0 shot = dark purple
1 shot = blue
2 shots = green
3 shots = yellow

and everything after 3 shots is a variation of reddish-orange
