I've had no end of problems since we recently changed our old logitech mouse for a new wireless version. I know I'm not the best of players but since changing the little control I did have has definately taken a turn for the worse.
I've tried adjusting the settings with mouse speed but nothing seems or feels right anymore. I'm sorry to say I dont play much now because of it
I won't give up though, I do try in the vain hope I may improve one day.
Any advice on adjusting settings would be gratefully recieved, just bare in mind I'm not as computer literate as some people and need things explained in simple terms

Wireless mice typically have more issues for gaming due to the power management they have to save on batteries. You might notice delays in the initial movement, for instance, because it doesn't poll as often when the mouse isn't moving.

I feel that the everglide ricochet mousepad severely lacks control compared to a mousepad like the steelseries experience I-2. Please notice the latter mousepad makes a scratchy sound and is hardly usable in combination with non PFTE/PFMK mouse feet. Glas is also rather cold in the winter therefore I switch to my ricochet during the winter (and play worse).Saturos wrote:If you decide on this one, you might want to get one of those hard mousepads by Razer or Everglide, as they significantly increase accuracy with this mouse.
There are some factors that can be measured and will influence playing in a good way regardless of personal preference but in the end a good decision mostly relies on personal preference and the cost.

I use the Roccat Kone mouse.
Its a fantastic mouse! You can change nearly everything to your behavior.
It has 8 mouse buttons to which you can apply makros and other stuff.
It has up to 3200dpi and you can optimize the lazer to your table/mouse pad
with a special feature. Its a bit expensive, but i think it's worth the money.
