You mean the gray one with the big "BZ" and a bit smaller "flag"? Sorry, but it is ugly.
A new (and good of course) Icon would be awesome.

The grey icon was replaced back in 1.9. The icon is now a red tank, at least for Windows.

Which size and format is required for such an icon? I will draw one if you tell me.

Ok, first I thought of doing it this evening, but than I couldn't resist.
So, here is the first preview (it took nearly 20 minutes and is inspired by these gentoo icon-set):
http://bzflag.saturos.de/stuff/bzicon.jpg
Currently it got 128*128 pixel, but it would be possible to create other versions with different size. I suggested that it should be PNG, but now I made it as JPG. It isn't for use yet, just a preview. And of course it will be transparent later.
Any comments?

Thanks.
So which sizes do we need?
128*128
64*64
32*32
16*16
And all in PNG. Right? Should I work on this?

Nobody answers - doesn't interest, here we go!
And the Icons in PNG-format:
http://bzflag.saturos.de/stuff/bzicons.zip
Does anybody know how to get 'em installed with KDE 3.1?
Edit: Umm, the 32-icon is a bit strange at the bottom. I've to fix that...
Edit2: Okaaaay, KDE also uses 48*48 und 22*22 icons. I have to do that tomorrow.

Thanks, I feel very happy.
You can send it to gentoo if you like. No problem.
