oh, thanks!! helps a lot!
Re: Website for commands
Many more commands here: http://bzstats.strayer.de/bzinfo/commands/
Re: Website for commands
Some of those commands are for 2.99.x/3.0.0 servers, such as the lua / commands.alezakos wrote:Many more commands here: http://bzstats.strayer.de/bzinfo/commands/

Re: Website for commands
Bambino is right - not all of the additional commands are for the 2.0.x servers/clients. At least one command (/selflock) is not even available in a standard compilation of the 2.99.x clients since it requires a certain debug level.Bambino wrote:Some of those commands are for 2.99.x/3.0.0 servers, such as the lua / commands.alezakos wrote:Many more commands here: http://bzstats.strayer.de/bzinfo/commands/
In case someone is interested in, I can add the information when the commands were added and/or removed. It would look like for the flags then.

Nice site strayer.strayer wrote:It would look like for the flags then.
A few things I noticed: LG is not part of 2.0.10 and CS is part of trunk.
Also, this information should probably be put on the wiki. Never knew there was a lag flag
Re: Website for commands
There isn't a lag flag.
Re: Website for commands
Past tense, apparently, but this is the first I've heard of it too.blast wrote:There isn't a lag flag.

@mrapple
Well, thank you for the notice but the flags and their descriptions were/are captured by regular trunk checks. So it's possible some flags are not any longer or not yet in the code of official releases. And as you can read:
Cloaked Shot (CS) - Shots are invisible out-the-window. Still visible on radar. Glow is still visible out-the-window. Watch out for ricochet!
added before: not released yet (2008-03-27 00:04:41 UTC+01)
removed after: not released yet
>>> "Cloaked Shot" is in trunk but still not part of an official release.
Lag (LG) - Player sees extra lag. [two tries to implement it; discarded both times]
added before: never been released (2004-10-18 08:00:39 UTC+02)
removed after: never been released (2005-01-15 09:27:30 UTC+01)
>>> "Lag" is, like blast pointed out, indeed nonexistent (- neither in a previous official release nor in trunk).
You might notice further information that seems to be incorrect like the two versions of the "Left Turn Only" flag. Both have the same name and effect but don't match the criteria I specified for a unique flag (name and identification code).
Btw, there was a funny typo in the old source code: "Left Turn Only" was described with "Can't turn left." and vice versa for "Right Turn Only".

Re: Website for commands
LG (Low Gravity) exists in trunk.
Re: Website for commands
It was added to trunk during that timeframe. Read the notice at the top of the page.
Notice: Flags can only be added or removed when a new major release of BZFlag comes out. So (i.e.) the flag Bouncy (BY) had been implemented before minor version 1.10.6 was released, but it took until the major release 2.0.0 appeared to become officially part of the game. (You will not find this flag in a version before 2.0.0, because the minor versions have to be compatible within a major version.)
