Global is going on and off

Hello Fellow Tankers,

I have recently found a annoying problem. When I try to log on it says "Can't talk with list server" When it works it has a - on it. I must rejoin a bunch of times until the + shows. Everything else works fine ( besides bzf ), so I know it's not my internet. Also, the fourms won't load. It says Oops try reloading Fourms.bzflag.org again. I love this game so much! If you could help that would be great!!
Thanks

Hmm, okay, so maybe it's not just me then. I haven't seen the issue in-game, since I don't really play that much anymore. But I have seen some of the issues loading the forum (which oddly works right away if I just try it again). I will have to keep an eye on it and maybe tweak some settings. Might be something in the Apache config I need to change.

I talked to allejo he says it's a long line of people having it too. Something about a UDP.

It would be nothing to do with UDP. HTTP uses TCP.

I think this is due to DNS problems with the bzflag.org domain. Tim changed the set of nameservers again yesterday, and at the moment everything seems to be working.

Well, in the case of DNS, it actually does generally use UDP. ;)
