HI, to all that will be reading this. Could someone pleas let me know if their is a chat room for BZFLAG members. can we make one?

There are plenty of already existing online relay chat channels. You can access it for free online, here: http://webchat.freenode.net/
Type your bzflag username as your nickname, and the channel as #bzflag

As said, BZFlag already has its own IRC Channel open for anyone to join and chat in.
How active and visited it is is another story, though.

I've been on the chat channel daily (365 days a year) for the past 6+ years...

As have 50-60 nicks been present there.

Depends on what you understand as "active". 20+ active users chatting at one time? Doubt it, even though such a number is nothing uncommon for IRC channels around.

I know there are multiple of them, never said there weren't.
If I might add, the channels themselves do sound a bit unreasonable since half of the game is chatting in-game already... but never-mind that, I honestly do not see it how this turned out into some sort of disagreement over nothing.

There are IRC channels that are BZFlag-focused. Everyone is free to visit them at any point. That's that.
Excuse me if you were too shocked by my "activity" input, I would like to take that back, looking at those reactions.

Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask this, but wasn't there a chat system integrated in the game set to release in 3.0? Would there be any hope to bring that to a 2.x release, or was it still too buggy?

It's not like more than 20+ players are playing at any given time anyway. 20 at a time is not bad at all - you can actually follow what someone is saying, versus #fw on Efnet for instance.

Wrong.
As the most of the active players come from the US, the game has approximally 30-40 players online at one point.
That would bring those players playing on around 5-8 maps at one moment.
