Youtube Channel

Post by Orange Peanut »

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6IxbRn8txY

What's up everyone. I decided to make a youtube channel mostly for tutorials and helping people improve. This is a link to my first video. I mostly play LU, so you can expect a lot of stuff for that, but I like playing anything on bz, so if there is anything you would like to see on my channel, let me know.

#1 While I like it, I had to make the volume louder. For example if you listen to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6IxbRn8txY and then without changing the volume then you watch this other video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBBebIigmOk is louder.

b) I do not know, maybe know you were a bit sick and somehow it changed your voice (as I also noted you were clearing your throat time to time).

#2 Unknown for sure, bit it seems like you used a public Server. Why did you use a pubic server? Why not run you own server and not forward the port(s), so you do not have to worry about others joining and you have to tell them some thing like:
Alone. I am recording a video.
More info about a private server https://wiki.bzflag.org/BZFS and https://wiki.bzflag.org/BZFS_Command_Line_Options

Note when I said and not forward the port(s)

That is important because if you forward the port(s), then the server is a public access-able private server (not listed). Trust me I know, I been there - done that.

Depending on what software firewall you have on your computer, you may also tell the software firewall to only allow certain IP Address(es) to connect because as far as I know BZFS can only ban IP Address(es).

For example of what I mean by only allow certain IP Address(es) to connect, I give a you single example.

Go to Start -> Windows Control Panel -> System and Security -> Windows Firewall -> Advanced -> Inbound Rule. Select the rule that you want to change. Then click on Scope. For Remote IP address, select These IP addresses and then go from there...

Thanks for the feedback trpted, I didn't know how quiet the video was going to be, I will try and make any future videos louder.

Thank you for the video, thought it is the best one out there for defense tactics, which is critical for learning HIX when new. Great job OP.

I just noticed it was with sound. Yes, it is almost inaudible. Please, if can, use Audacity on the sound track/s and "Normalize" them. Then, edit the video adding the new audio tracks and upload it again. To video editting you could use Pitivi if on linux, or if not, http://alternativeto.net/software/pitiv ... rm=windows (or change platform).
