Playing BZFlag on a multiseat setup

This makes me think, how difficult would it be to set up without the need for an internet connection? I saw some of the directions around here for locally playing over a LAN, would that be the same directions if using a single computer setup with multiple seats?

You could certainly run a local server (bzfs) on the same machine.
