Hello!

Been playing for a number of years and I just have to say though it is an unpopular opinion. Apocalypse is the best map for battle and capture the flag and the best map BZ has to offer. Why you ask?

1) Simplicity
2) Repeat Playability- I will never ever ever get tired of this map
3) Variety of weapons
4) Levels up easily with scale- The more the merrier {except for Colonel obviously}

Who's with me? For me this is like the map Block Fort on Mario Kart N64 or really any of those classic maps. They're just stellar. Second runner up is Urban Jungle.

And what don't you like about it?

I always craved fast action, and did what I could to make Dutchrai's map play as fast as I could.
The key is really making it exciting when there is a low player count. For any map, If it never makes it past 4 players it never makes it any farther. And I do play the server often at 2-on-2, and even with only four, it's pretty decently fun.

I must say again, the map belongs to Dutchrai at Shellshock. I just put the Planet-MoFo treatment on it.

Can we expect more maps like Apocalypse from you? I really like it too.

The action there is to allow players to choose their own weapon.... The DMZ is a new concept.

I hate it when they keep altering things, mostly not for the better. Just keep the original map.

Also they're adding stupid flags like 7-1 which add nothing except irritation.
