Just one random comment:
sqrt( 1 - (velocity^2 / speed of light^2))
is the "Lorentz factor", and of course applies to things that go
really fast. I have a very fast small sailboat (a Banshee), so that's what I named it (the formula is on the stern). It does seem to amuse people, but
it's hard to publish in any sort of typeset lists, say of race results.

I can't believe a rodent had to correct your relativistic physics. What kind of lame household appliance are you?
I knew about Lorentz contractions becasue once I ran so fast in my wheel at night that I contracted enough to slip between the bars of my cage.( I knew sitting next to that cyclotron was worthwhile.)

Hehe Panzer....
Honest! I WOULDA won the race if my boat hadn't contracted!

I think that my brain is contracting as my bzbb post count increases.Gerbil wrote:I can't believe a rodent had to correct your relativistic physics. What kind of lame household appliance are you?

Given the current rate, I'd better brush up on my quantum mechanics before my brain reaches nano proportions.
btw, TPP, I like that name for your boat.
