The Long Road (from Ducati to Babels') -by R.Chikorita

there are crosses
along the road,
crosses and
wild flowers,
and gardens
of old stone.

flowers and crosses,
so much life,
and so many losses.
colors of the living,
colors of the dead
of blue and purple,
of green and red.

i read the names
as i went along
Lupi..Carny.. Baron..
Gerbil ..Fanta ..KR..
the names read on
and on and on..
and i wondered
i wonder who they are

so i gathered up some posies,
poppies an a few rosies
an i lay them gently down
by the markers on the ground .
an as i walked away slow,
i could hear the soft sound
of the voices calling..
calling mee from below:

"Chikaaaaa.... twas' u that put us here... with ur wicked rico ..an with ur bloody geno"
and i stopped ... and i sighed .. a sad and sorrowful sigh .

"ooh..", i faintly whispered ..

and skipped to the store for some more bubblegum and bullets ;)
