Radar in center?

I've been looking for that "Radar in center of screen" patch.

Anybody know where it went???

That looks like an.... interesting patch. Any idea how to get it installed? All the patch is is a .txt file.

pataches are text because they are just code changes. You apply the patch to the source code with the "patch" utility, then recompile the game.
To apply the patch you must have the ability to compile and build the source code.

Also, the screenshots supplied show the patch working on version 1.7, there is no guarantee it will still work.
