FFA
FFA Thare's just something warm and cuddly about uninhibitted carnage. I'd like all rogue all the time.
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.
Thinking is not an automatic process. A man can choose to think or to let his mind stagnate, or he can choose actively to turn against his intelligence, to evade his knowledge, to subvert his reason. If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.

CTF rocks!! I love having to dodge all the enemy bullets just when your getting near your base and then not being able to and they take they're flag half way back across the map before you can get a hold of it again. I dunno, i guess its just fun to fight over something as trivial as a flag.

I find this annoying and distracting, I like to be able to feel superior to everyone else by trying to get a really high score (FYI, it never works ). Sooooooooo I could be in the middle of slaughtering straglers with laser while my team is getting mad because I'm not killing the guy with our flag. CTF is a bit to advanced for me.Soraya wrote:CTF rocks!! FFA is definately a favorite because I tend to get really mad at my team a bit when I'm on one, or I'll do so bad that I feel I'll have to leave so my team gets a bit of its advatage back
But, all things are good but I'd generally prefer 3, 4 or 5 shots as they revolve around a tad more skill than a 10 shot spam server...

it all depends on my teamates. ctf is fun when you got two good teams. if you are on the team that is getting their butt handed to them its no fun. it also gets borring when the other team has not got a clue. ffa is great because you dont have to depened on anyone eles. and all you need is one good player on the other side to make it great. 4 team ctf is great too. small teams. lots of oppents.
Depends on the server... map and size are the main factors.
For a large game, FFA. I prefer rogue just because I hate getting geno'd.
medium-sized games are good for CTF. I prefer 4-way in most cases because with 2 teams there's just too much camping and cheap tactics... with four teams, at least the campers aren't always focused on you. (I wonder what 3-team CTF would be like?)
Rabbit is only fun when the game is small... 10 players max.

I don't have a problem with this. tho, i don't play on ctf servers with super flags, cuz it sucks. so i just go around a kill the incompetent pillbox players and have a fun time seeing just how quickly i can get to the top. But i could never get to the top on any other server. Not even ducati, which is quite like pillbox. I pretty much suck at any other kind of play... I am good enough to keep a score just in the + range, tho.M1A2AbramsTank wrote:I find this annoying and distracting, I like to be able to feel superior to everyone else by trying to get a really high score (FYI, it never works ).

"Hold the flag" perhaps? otherwise cops and robbers would be too similar to CTF.ducatiwannabe wrote:CTF really is the best. FFA is second place Rabbit third. I still say they need Cops and Robbers or another mode
A "king of the hill" mode could be fun, but that's also practically a camping contest.
A "pop the cap" variant of rabbit would be fun, too... just like rabbit, but with teams. teams only score for "popping the cap" or, if the target is a teammate, defending him/her for set intervals.

hold the flag would be AWSOME, c who can stay alive w/ it the longest, the longer they keep it, the more points
