ok i got a quick question do i have the file path's right?

if i put the conf.conf inside the folder Bzflag(that is inside the program files folder) the path to that folder would be

Code: Select all

C:\program files\Bzflag\conf.conf

Well, I put the map and the conf on my computer, ran a local test, and the map is not your problem even with the odd-strange looking characters infront of name. I think your problem is in your config.

Quick look at it, I commented out what I think might have been it, started it up, uncommented some, restarted, repeated. I think your problem might be in the groups definition line. You sort of forgot the space between "program" and "files". I commented the line "-p 4200", and I'm guessing that means port, maybe? No clue.... I did add my usual "-d" to it, as it sort of helps me and reassures me that the server is actually running.....

Not sure why it may not work on yours. What version of bzflag are you running?

oh the program and files error i found and corrected and it still did that. ill try removing the -p and see what happens. i am using a compiled version 2.0.5 bzflag and it isnt the compiling that is doing it either. i also tested it on the bzflag 2.0.5b4

It should work.
That are the only mistakes, i found.

Code: Select all

-p 4200

-password blabla

-public "Planet MoFo: The Passion Of The Free For All! 20 SHOT!"

-publicaddr nitrosport.servegame.org:4200
Maybe, you don't need the -p 4200
