norang servers

Hey!

The norang servers are finally back up!!! Today, just 1-2 hours ago, started the biggest CTF war in Ducatiwannabe's server ever....first, it was just me, zocka, my sister, lrl, and my dad, TGD, who were playin...then everyone else joined....Ah, that match was fricken awesome...we also had a cheater that was...kinda dumb....his name was sp0rtcunt...anyone know if he has cheated before?

Anyways, does anyone know why the norang servers where down for so long?

They were down?

To my knowlege, the some servers go down to make more "internet room" for the servers with more people on them. Might be that....

sp0rtcunt and sportProstitue were banned from the gamesunited servers. Hope they dont show up agian

I kicked sporc**t him from my server before he even spawned, for having a rude callsign... diddn't get a chance to see him cheat

just FYI, on norang.ca you can use /report to report problems. Your report will get read sooner than forum posts.

/report is not enabled on all servers, try and see. if not, use 'Z' to send a message to any admins on.

All the servers on bzflag.norang.ca are basically an "unrolled rotation server."

I used to run a rotation server for LouMan maps but that seemed to always have the wrong map running and the duration of the game is always inconvenient (the game ends too early or it takes too long to change to a more interesting map).

So... now we run ALL the maps at once. When we hit 20 total players the idle servers get temporarily shutdown. There is a summary of all the servers on http://bzflag.norang.ca/. Player lists on the website are updated in realtime (fetched from the bzflag servers when you refresh the page)

All of these are running on a cable modem.

Some norang.ca server should always be running. If the map you want isn't available then there is already a busy game in progress on another map.

Admins can start any server on demand from the website so you could ask one to start the map you want if it's temporarily unavailable.

Vlad: Yes Sp0rtCunt is A Cheater... He has god mode i believe and has a speed cheat aswell.. bann sp0rtcunt on site... if u let him stay and play he will start advertising the cheat site...

sp0rtXXXX (cheater) =Mr_Molez (known and respected in ducati league)=ensino man(never heard of)=death barrel(known by most all, leader of HoW in Ducati league/adrenaleague)
