Wings3D-BZW Exporter needs updated.

Post by optic delusion »

The Wings3D exporter stopped working on the newest versions of wings three versions ago. The last version i can get it to work with, on my mac, is 0.98.34
The 0.99 version has been released, and I was wondering if anyone has any interest in getting it working there? whaddaya say?
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

Thinking is not an automatic process. A man can choose to think or to let his mind stagnate, or he can choose actively to turn against his intelligence, to evade his knowledge, to subvert his reason. If he refuses to think, he courts disaster: he cannot with impunity reject his means of perceiving reality.

just so you all know, the author of the exporter is no longer active in bzflag, so it will take one of you community members to get it working.

EDIT: Oops that's a binary - not the source (which wasn't released I guess)

I would suggest exporting as .obj and using modeltool.
