I'm going to be submitting these textures as a patch for BZFlag 3.0..
I'd like to get some opinions on them, so any comments are welcome.
So far I only have the base textures, the pyramid textures, the Teleporter texture (Caution.png), and the Grass.

I think that new textures would be excellent when 3.0 comes.
I think you could maybe make the color of the red tanks a little more extreme and vivid. As for the rogue tanks, a spot more yellow. At first glance I thought they were green (maybe I just have to go the doctor).
For the flag, make it a little more white.
The wall,base and teleporter texture are very good, IMO.
Anyway, just suggestions. It's all on the right way, keep it up.

I'm glad you're finally releasing this texture pack on the forums. I'm personally not too thrilled about it, after becoming used to the standard settings, but that's just my thoughts. The tank textures make them look a lot less like jello, but they now make them look like some rusty old tin tank toys. The flags look a little too dirty (in my opinion), and I'm not really that fond of the new bases. Also, for some strange reason, the ground is checkered in some areas (though that may just be my machine).
Personally, I think it would be a great texture pack, as long as it's supplementary to the original.

The bases seem to look worse than the current ones.
Teleporter texture looks potentially better but .. those "variances" seem to be too much at the right side, better would be "more random".
Gras: Hard to say..it's important one can not see an obvious pattern (repetitions) on ground.
Outer wall: That's the one of the worst camera positions possible..but how does it look when viewed from the front? Its repetitions seem to be very obvious because of the colour scheme..and visible repetitions are bad from what I've understand.
Flag: Looks great!
Tanks: Err, they look wiered..need to see that in action.
