Dockable windows

Post by War Pig »

I play on a multi-monitor setup, and it would be quite nice if the chat, player list and radar windows were undockable so that I could move them to one of my other displays.

I know this is an old topic, but I'd also be interesting in this or something else that allows radar on a separate screen

I've actually done this before, but instead of changing anything in the client, I configured my displays to be a vertical span. Then, I increased the radar/panel size until it filled the lower screen. That effectively gave me radar/chat on one display and window view on the other.

There's a thread about it someplace, with pictures.

Sounds interesting L4m3r,

maybe you can provide us a link or URL? "someplace" is hard to find in the big www.

At the top of every page there is a search button. Use it. Thank you.

In other news, I'm going to try that. :D
EDIT:: ahh, yes. That's right. Radar size is limited now. Aww.

@me1:
I did search for this in the forum, and on other ressources, and I played with the different startcommand-settings (- view) too. Btw, L4m3r didnt tell if it was in THIS board.

Thanks for this "helpfull" answer, but that shows only bad style.
Maybe if you search something in the future, you get a better help than me.

Thanks Jefenry.
But this one I found too.
I hoped there is somewhere a good solution for the radar size limit thing.
But it seems, it isnt
