Laser and theif beams and _shotsKeepVerticalVelocity 1

I have noticed something that greatly detracts from the realisim of BZFlag. When _shotsKeepVerticalVelocity is set to 1 and somebody grabs the Laser flag, that person will have his laser shoot up and down when he jumps. The same thing goes for TH. I think these flags should behave the same when _shotsKeepVerticalVelocity is set to 1 or when it is set to 0. Please tell me your opinions on this.

I don't think it's really that big of a deal, I can't see anybody designing a map that absolutely has to have inertial bullets but not lasers...

Yeah, it is just not realistic. The laser beams never shoot up in real life when tanks jump or fly.

We are real sticklers for realism around here.
