Idea: One shot kill

idea comes from assult cube

there are 2 teams
-on your radar you cant opponents, but you can see teammates
-maybe an option so you can see opponents shots
-get ride of looking at functions, on radarless maps you can still identify opponents within range
-Add an option to display tank labels while your in game mode (to see teammates only)


-the server forces players to spawn
-if you die you have to wait until every player on team dies, (next round)
-Individual Points as well as Round point (for winning team)
-server gives you an un droppable flag at the beginning like L, Sb, or SW
-you can change your flag only while waiting for next round by msging the server for a different flag
ie /flagr L

(kinda like the useless mines where you can pick what types of mines you want)

maybe if implemented
maps are smaller
possibly add a time limit for each map, so maps rotate every X minutes.

Sounds pretty cool carnage. The only problem i would see would be waiting. Maybe after you die you could go to a platform above the playing level and "test" your new flag. You would also be able to battle against other dead tanks. It could be called the "ghost zone" :rip: . You know, sounds weird but it would be a good way to waste time.

actually, after your dead, maybe your tank turns into phantom zone, so you can still look/move around the map maybe add wings to phantomzone, so you can go to different levels of the map.

but your invisible on radar/and so are your shots/and you cant kill (or you cant shoot)
maybe add an option that once your dead you can see all tanks so dead tanks can help out where living opponents are.

of course you wont be able to to pause in gameplay, and NR tanks will killed/kicked by server

That sounds VERY hard to implement to me. Maybe someone could make it a whole new game, it sounds a bit too complicated for BZFlag.

I agree, it would be quite hard to implement but quite fun. I like it, very cool idea. Reminds me kinds of doctor dodgeball in high school :P
