Hi all,
I'm thinking it would be nice to have a client alert system.
Depending on different things it would give an alert.
Like if packet loss goes over a certain limit or lag increases beyond a certain amount.
After that happens it would give an alert or highlight a tank which has packet loss or a lag increase.
This could also apply to jitter increases and fps drops.

Re: Client alerts
There is already a system in place on the server that sends warnings about high lag, jitter, or packet loss.
Re: Client alerts
It seems it needs to be enabled to work.
I'm thinking of a client based alerts, since servers which give alerts like this tend to be rare.

Re: Client alerts
The client can't know about those stats on its onwn, it needs the server
Re: Client alerts
Any chance that this might be featured in a future release?

Re: Client alerts
no, sending data about other client connections to all clients is a security issue.
The data is server data, and that's where it should and will stay.

Re: Client alerts
We're not going to provide alerts about the connection quality of players other than yourself because you can't do anything about it. If you can't tell by the way their tank moves that a player is laggy, jittery, or losing packets then alerts about it would do nothing but distract from playing the game and lead to pointless arguments.
Re: Client alerts
It was a thought.
