Hello,
part of the game-fun is the challenge/bantering between specific players.
I usually play with the console window closed (because distracts me/clutters screen) and from time to time I
open-and-glance at it on some event.
I wonder if it is possible, as an activable option, to have displayed somewhere the latest killed player (similarly how it is displayed the
latest player who killed you). Maybe below the team score.
Alternatively a way to filter the console messages to remove less interesting messages (flag taken/flag dropped etc) would be good in order to have it always open without annoyance.
Thanks,
Nafta

I point to and quote part of https://wiki.bzflag.org/Message
That is the closest thing, without seeing the console, that I can think of., (comma) Send to nemesis =The last player you killed, or who killed you

Re: Display latest killed-by-you player
shift + F4 shows the Misc tab in the console window, which shows who killed whom and only a few other things (not chat).
Also, Options->GUI Settings->Panel Height lets you adjust the console window height independently of radar size, so you can have a big radar and a small console.

Thanks for the suggestions.
However I think a reasonable close solution would be to add an option to remove (at least) the flag grabbed/flag dropped message in the Shift+F1 window. It could be not even in the GUI but just in the settings file. There will still be the "player X killed by Y" message though.
