mouse sensitivity

Post by teatree »

It would be nice that you can change your mouse sensitivity in game, but that sensitivity would only be for bzflag, so in bzflag.cfg the command would be

Code: Select all

sensitivity "1.7"
for example.
Thanks for replys

you can change the size of the large outer target box, and that changes how far you have to move the mouse to get full speed. So that in essence changes sensitivity. Check your options menu for the seting.

mouse input in bzflag is based on the relitive screen position, so that is the only senstivity seting it has.. You could make a pach that added a multiplyer into the calculation, but then there would be no visual mark that showed where you were at "full" speed, aka the outer box.

sadly no, it's not pixel based, it's percentage of the screen based.

When the cursor is outside the big box, your at full speed in that axis.

just how touchy do you want it?

At fullspeed it is still to slow for me ... a year ago i played with higher sense and it was better, it just would be good if you can change the senstivity without the windows sens, so ingame ... but i dont know if that is possible in future. I asked a bit around and others think it would be quite helpful. I just want the reaktion of my mouse much faster, with out pulling my house over the hole table ;)
