Hey All,
So it has occurred to me that -autoteam could be made smarter. I think it would be neat if it could autojoin people to teams based on global forum groups. This enhancement would lead to several advantages:
1) For league games people are already joined to the correct team.
2) To encourage registration owners could have anyone not in a registered group autojoined to observer
3) We could divide all registered users into two gigantic clans (or 4) randomly assigned or through request. This would add some real rivalry in bzflag that goes beyond leagues. Kinda like in Harry Potter if you read that. They do it at real boarding schools (hehe mine) and it is a lot of fun.
So is such a feature feasible or desireable? Obviously there are other reasons than the three I named that this could be used.
