BZ man pages

Post by Guest »

First, thx to all developers for the latest release. Even the man pages are in the install :D .

I do have a couple issues about the man pages.

Why is non-admin client "commands" listed in the bzfs page? It makes more sense to have those listed in the bzflag page, it's the first place ppl check  .

I can't find CLIENTQUERY in any man page..

Keep up the good work...

Man pages at last

Post by Dutchrai »

Cool, Windows users now have the man pages in the install! Tx programmers, real nice

Since the man pages now come with BZFlag 1.7g0 for every platform, I have removed the HTML versions I had on Shell Shock, since they now have become redundant. If you're looking for them, just check your bzflag/doc directory! :lol-old:

Blaster...
Good point (I haven't checked them out yet). An idea ... take the man page source, and add in CLIENTQUERY, duplicate the non-admin commands section into the bzflag man page, and submit to a developer or the maintainer for approval.... Ahhhhhh, the beauty of open-source :)

Peace
