Meaning, BZFlag does not have a recorder.
Anyways, this would cause a lot of lag, since it has to go to the server, and then to every client. Also, it would be too annoying. Imagine having 10 people talking to each other at the same time, not imagine whenever someone starts to talk the last person gets cut off. if you chose who to send it to, you still need to chose who with the keyboard.

Well Here is something called Teamtalk http://www.bearware.dk/
Didn't you read the posts above. The bandwidth required would be a huge burden on the server owner. Putting it in would mean that you couldn't host BZ without a huge amount of bandwidth, would you be willing to pay for it? I didn't think so.Geo Dude wrote:that would be sweet if there was though...maybe in the next version they can add that

That's just scary...Win Xp wrote:Can you imagine if boxy war did this? They'd eat bandwidth faster then I eat candy.

As for chat programs, maybe consider Skype! I lovies it. But everybody else is obsessed with some X-Fire or X-Chat or something. Or maybe that was just normal teamspeak. I've still yet to use any microphone program besides skype. I think I did it once on AIM...
