commenting commands

R3LaX and Jeffm2901, please take notice.

recently I learned of a spazzy new command method which has worked well in teaching new people how to poll/vote !

This is an example:

Mr Manalishi://say I love BZFX!

it comes out like this:

Mr Manalishi:/say I love BZFX!

Very handy!

but!

For some reason, it does not work for admins. R3LaX tried it, and it didn't work.
Next time someone asks "how do you poll?", now you know what to say!
don't forget to tell them pollin is for registered members only

I always did it by putting a space before the /

I've done that for awhile now. Works for me... (at multiple servers whether I own it, admin it, or play it)

Maybe R3laX is doing it wrong?

I'm surprised that anyone didn't already do that... maybe because not everyone uses IRC...
