hi all i was just wondering what you all thought of mine and macints new server ice rink off death please check it out and tell me any suggestions and comments on the server

I've never seen or heard of it

Post the server addy and i'll take a look, assuming its up right now.

There is a search function in the BZFlag Server List. Press / and type ice. Then press the return key.

It's a random map with some modified BZDB variables. The shot speed and slide amount seem a little excessive, but still playable. Can't really determine how much fun it would be, since I was the only one on at the time.

K I was on there, and like blast said, I couldnt really tell whether or not it would be fun to play on, since i was the only 1 on at the time.
I do like the aspects of the map though. Where is the server hosted by the way?

If 1 could get control of the ice, they could kick some serious...! Especially at the speed the bullets are set at

The server is located in Sweden.

There is another server that is up occassionally during the American evenings, "Speed Skate by Tedius," which has similar settings concerning friction, but is not a random map.

another european server sounds good but this is not playable/not fun as far as i'm concerned, sorry.

I played there a couple of times, it's lots of fun!

My main strategy was to just keep moving as fast as I could...it's also not a bad idea to jump, since you'll most likely either land behind an obstacle or so far away that the person who you are running away from can't turn fast enough.

I was just on it then and my opinion of the map has changed a little. For instance, the reload time for the bullets is a little fast, its as if you've always got machine gone or FF I think the other one is. There's also not many places to go, you should extend it, making the floors in the sky etc., or even make it a CTF.

It IS fun though I enjoyed it, but it wasn't to long before i changed servers.
