This server was up about one year ago, but it was taken down for a reason I do not remember.

The map functions as follows:
- There are jails on the edge, where tanks go when they are shot.
- To get out of jail, you need to shoot an enemy from inside jail.

- To win a round, you must put all of the other team's members in jail.

- You cannot cross the map, the teams are stuck on their own sides.

A year? I swear it was less...but fun nonetheless. I think (going by memory here) that the shot speed should (have) be(en) reduced.

I still like the old old dodgeball map, which had a platform with a laser WW across the opening, which retreated every so often, and no jumping.
Games don't make people violent, lag does.

This map took the list by storm last summer, it was the week my parents were away and I had to be up at the ungodly (hey, it was summer and I think I suffer from DSPS) hour of 8am everyday. What I did all morning, however, was play this map with the americans that had stayed up late right through until the europeans had been there a fair while.
So, that musta been something like July 06, almost a year ago.

I got in late last year, was on vacation, only played it once.
I'm on my way there now.
Take a look at my Defender game mode concept.

As I said via the admin channel earlier on the server, the place lagged up with more 8/9 players a side.

Edit: I think this would be a perfect map for a league to run on. You would probably need 3/side minimum to have a good game, but thats not huge.
Games don't make people violent, lag does.

Alright! Another league to possibly join! =P
it would definently be more of a challenge than it is now.

It is a pretty fun map for a while, but once you learn the ricos and start to slaying everyone it becomes a little boring, especially when the people on the other team don't adapt to it.

It is a great overall map though. :)

Yeah, I used to host it as a part of BZFX. It was popular for some time, but then it lost all popularity after awhile. I eventually took it down as no one played it - at all.

Anyways, BZFX is back and hosting it again. It's a pleasure to be a part of Dodgeball. :)

Yea, I think The name brought more people there than anything, plus the fact that it wasn't the same old shoot-kill-die Server, thats why i played it personally.
