I was hoping the cut would have been fixed by now but it's worse than had been estimated. They said it should be done today but I'm not holding my breath.

You probably already know this but another Badgers is up and running, I think Winny is hosting it, he's done a good job with getting it to how it used to be. The last couple of days it's been really popular

For the time being, its up on bzflagr.net:5154. I tried to get the same settings and admin groups as the original server, but you can never make it perfect.

Hopefully yours will be up soon :--)

OK, I can see that the date on this forum is old, but I can also see that bzflagr.net:5154 is (as of May 22 2008) hosting one of Badger's recent (but not current) maps -- does anyone know anything about why badgerking.fiedlers.net is -currently- down?

Best server since bzflag.secretplace.us went down.

hmm it's been 4-5 days now. badgerking would normally write here about what's wrong. i hope he's ok..

The last time this happen, Badger was on vacation when his server crashed... don't worry too much (yet)

I popped up a temporary server on bzflagr.net:5155 until the regular one is back.

It seems that Badger's has been down for about a week or two. Anyone have a clue as to why and when it will be back up ? I need to feed my addiction

Yes, in another topic someone told that badgerking took down his server, and he told it won't be back up by him.
Doesn't mean that other hosters won't run the map. Don't worry, at the moment badgerkings map runs on 2-3 places! Just use the search-functionality of your bzflag-client to find these servers.

Yes, one is hosted by BZFX, however, it is the old map which doesn't include the latest map updates.

Another one is hosted by KTL which is updated but is on a rotation and is all textured. It might take a bit getting used to for the frequent Badgerking players. I do think it looks rather cool though.

The last one is hosted on an Australian Rotation server.



I don't think Badgerkings will ever feel the same again.

Yeah, I've noticed the other servers. KTL looks a lot like the original one, BZFX is old. Guess badger's will never be as popular as it used to be

I would gladly host the latest one if someone has it.

It seems Badgerking is MIA, he hasn't responded to my PM.

I am completely open to taking care of the Badgerking community until the real Badgerking is back.

I have been *occupied* for a time --had to sort some things out-- and was not able to participate but I'm back. The server is back up and if you all deem it worthy, please do come play.
