so many years know ::: still i don't know who are all those server-owners?!
who is dedicating so much time, efforts and money to keep BZFlag alive on the serving side? who are the colleagues that keep the server maintained, organized and up&running 7days/24hours a week?

I own bzflag3.norang.ca, and Thumper runs it. I have the easy part...

I own bzbattleground.com. and Jefenry, flying_popcorn, Tedius, and R3lax help maintain. Along with a great staff of admins.

BZFX. All the bzfx.net servers and hosting for Abominable. Also develop and mirror BZFlag related open-source projects (see our git site), such as MasterBot, CAN, and BZFlag_Info. Community and donation supported whenever possible (we can always use them, we usually end up too close for comfort), and we are starting to offer paid BZFS and web hosting.

BZAddict.net. I own bzaddict.net and keep them up, bandwidth generoustly given by Gnurdux (Thanks!)
I also host a few servers for my friends.
I also ensure the server uptime stays around the 24/7.
We would be nothing if we didn't have you, players, to come and enjoy fun games!

i forgot to mention that on the 123.zaphod.fr server i have to thank gorgomol for helping me in operating the server! as well Upsetter and ts are a very great help!

aaahh. finally. the inex runner apears. on behalf of all aussie players ide like to thank you for hosting a server that our lag is below 300..

now we just need one in california

I run my maps off of the planet mofo server.
I also host with bzfx.net.

I've switched Hosting company's. While the server is still in the same geographical location, has the lag increased/decreased for you?

In case you were just wondering about Zac's lag, sorry; if you were wondering about everyone's lag change, I believe mine went down about 5ms-10ms. It definitely didn't go up, at least when I tried it out.

same here since i changed hosting company with its location to paris
where the french DSL-Central is!
lag went down a lot too!
nothing is more constant then change

yeah i did notice my lag is a tiny bit better cheers
