disable local register

Place for people to discuss public servers, and also for admins to lay out the details of their servers

anyone an idea how i could disable local register on the server?

Take out your -passdb from the configuration.

I typically also disable the -userdb since I only use global groups. The -userdb stores group membership based on callsign, not bzid, so it's less secure. (For example, if someone changes their name on the forum, they lose their group membership through -userdb, and then someone else can change their name to that user's old name and might get admin rights on that server then.)
