bzexcess: I can't login anymore

Hi all,
after years of usage I can't login any more on bzexcess from last two months . I receive the global login approved but I can't actually join to any team.
I tried to login with different - unregistered - login names but nothing ... is there anyone that could help me?
My bzflag version is 2.0.16 and is running over a Linux Gentoo distribution.
