Hello bzflag! I just wanted to report something odd that just happened. We all know the map Grassroots by Babel, right? It's a great map, and you know how your score saves up every time you play? Well, I played a lot and was able to get up to a score of +303. Next time I join, my score is somehow at 0 ! I don't know what happened, and I was wondering if there is a way to get it back. Kinda takes the fun out of the map when I've been working to get my score that high and it suddenly disappears .

I would guess that server is using a score-saver plugin. (like on Planet Mofo)
I really don't know exactly how it works, but there might be a limit to how long it will remember your score. Or, maybe the server was restarted and your score got reset.

Yeah, I think it's most likely that the second one happened. Is it possible to get my score back?

that happens to me when i go nr during a game (connection to the server lost). when i leave normally, (or f12 when about to get shot ) the old score is retrieved. it may be that being kicked/banned by admin or poll may reset your score too but i don't know about that.

Probably not.
The server owner might be able to change what your score is stored as, you can try asking him.

This happened to me before and fortunately brad was online. (Brad in the server administrator) And all it took was a few minutes for him to reset my score. So just send him a pm and hopefully he could help you out.
