Overview::

Server is in Texas, colocated at Internap. (~900mbit pipe)

Admin mailing list is bzflag-admins@hashmark.net, irc channel: irc.hashmark.net #bzflag

Server Settings::
7 shots :: jumping :: ricochet :: teleporters :: requireudp
8 Rogue
6 each of Red, Blue, Green, Purple
2 observers allowed
Lagboot set to 3 warnings of over 300ms
badflag drop: 5.0 seconds or 1 win

(temporarily disabled) teamkillers are kicked at 40% tk ratio

100 random Flags: ST, OO, G, {SW, CL, GM, ID, L, SB } are guaranteed (in that order of prevalence). All flags (including bad flags) enabled, except: MG, JP, R.

Server Policies::

the admsg for this server is:
'Cheat once, get banned forever. Dispute bans at: irc.hashmark.net #bzflag'

Other than that, sportsmanship is required of all players.
_update_:: due to abuse, we've also had to implement a pg-13 language policy.
_update_:: Bans are now handled via firewall; 35% of all offenders' packets are dropped.

I'll do what i can to keep this updated as the server config changes.

Anyone have any idea what happened to hashmark? I haven't seen in on the server list in a few weeks. I NEED MY HASHMARK!!

Yes, while I am a CTF player, my primary mode of relaxation is to join up on hashmark and run up a 3 digit score.
