Hepcat down?

Post by elem3nt »

Has anyone noticed that Hepcat.org is down? Does anyone know why or when it might be back up?

I have noticed. I see someone has put up a temporary clone of it, but their server is slow and laggy. Especially laggy. Extremely laggy. Etc...

I have no idea when it will be back up, and the hepcat.bzflag.org website gives no clue. Maybe the question could be posted on their forum, although it seems strange that they haven't already.

Overlord is one of my favorite maps

Glad to see it's back up. It just seemed so strange that it went down without warning and no one seemed to notice, so I was a little concerned. Needless to say, I'm glad it's back up.

If you select the permanent Pillbox map in the server list, then change the port number to 5156,, hey presto, permanent overlord, only no players 'cos no one knows it's there.

i surely want the rotation of overlord with babels back, many players only like one of them, to have a rotation => both are happy
