Robots on the server

Post by Teppic »

Those of you who have played on my server will be familiar with the scripts I have running that add and remove robots. The scripts are stable now and clean up after themselves, but before I shelve them as 'done' is it worth adding a number parameter to the trigger to add say between 1 and 9 bots instead of the default 4???

Yes, I have seen Marvin. He is a rather stupid bot compared to my 2.0.3 one, and has a brain the size of a planet sucked into a black hole. The only thing that makes him good is that his depression sometimes kills me. :P

well the secret is that there is no secret to it
if you have nobody on your server ::: start your client and give him an autopilot ::: anybody who connects after that can't see the [auto] and is assumed as a player/bot ::: thats it!!!
((i love the comments some player are sending to Marvin ;))
but what i would love is to have is a script, that hides the [auto] sign or to set the disablebots command line but still let Marvin run as an autopilot ... anybody an idea to make it work???
