Use this:
You are trying to run bzfs from a directory which it isn't in.
Code: Select all
/Desktop/BZFlag-2.0.2.app/Contents/MacOS/bzfs -dd -conf "path/to/file.conf"

Re: help me i keep getting a something wrong.
ok first off it would be easier for us to know your name to help but that doesn't matter, 2ndly its better to have you bzflag app in the applications folder if your gonna run bzfs from your directory on the desktop this is the code you need to type in1badplayer wrote:look at this and tell me what i did wrong. i am on mac osx.
[XXXX:~] XXXXXXXX% cd /Users/XXXXXXXX/Desktop/BZFlag-2.0.2.app

cd /users/xxxxxxx/desktop/bzflag-2.0.2.app/contents/macos
this will redirect you to the correct bzflag directory if you havent moved it
then run
./bzfs -dd -conf /users/xxxxx/library/bzfs/files/mybzfsconf.conf and it should run but i suggest just putting your conf and map file in your users folder (/users/xxxxxx/) makes it much easier is what i have found out

open up a port in your router, go to http://www.portforward.com, but first look through some of the server guides people have posted on this forum
