yes the unthinkable has happened Win Xp has a server

it is not on all the time because we don't have enough bandwidth and m parents won't let me leave it on all the time it is a rotation

is it not true that silvercat was a copy of hepcat? and I not right ?

also there is no trademark on using the word "cat" in your server name

so don't come complaining that I am coping your server

I thought the name SolarCat sounded cool as well

It is not a copy, but they came in right after Hepcar and play the same stuff so it would be natural to call them a copy. (a very good one)

hepcat.org has been my domain name since the mid 90's. Hepcat bzflag servers sprang up about 3 years ago and got real popular about a year and a half ago.

I originally requested the service of silverfox to help host the hepcat stuff as a fallback and then as primary when i stopped hosting for a bit. He took it and expanded on what I was doing and thus spun the name a bit different.

Quite different than just copying the map and tossing up another similar server which is everyones right to do but IMHO pointless. The community would be served by more diverse and interesting servers not a group of carbon copies.
