I will cop at servers for weekend if you need one! I have run down all the Rule like things and all,And how it all wrks. And I dont take advantage! I will only kick a person if absolutely neccesary! So if you need one I am open.

usually it isn't a good Idea to post saying how good a admin you are, it kind of rubs off wrong...

This is not the sorta things admins look for. Even though you did not mean it that way, as a server owner myself I can get the wrong idea - and most others will too.

The best approach is to play there a lot, respect the rules, and hope the owner notices. This is the approach I used for 90% of servers I have a "status" at (the rest were when I was a n00b and asked

I don't do it anymore).

I ocasinally ask, if I know the person well, and I know I will get to be a admin.

It also helps to have someone on the inside of the server to reccomend you.

i don't get all the hype around being a server admin... why ask?
sure, i'm happy to help out if the owner asks me and i know them well, but whats the advantage admin status if you just want to play the game? is it only cuz these guys want to put a little thing in thier sig that says 'admin@whatever'?

I hate going to Lasermania or GU and finding some really bad guy on and nobody is registered so we can't /poll kick him (and GU doesn't enable polling...

)

So yeah... that's what I hate.
