List for official servers.

Guys how do you create a LIST for official servers?

Are you asking how to get a server on the list?

If you are, you just need to have your server/map config file correct and it will be listed automatically. If your server is not showing up, post your config file (make sure you change or delete the server password from it) here and we will help you. Also, if you get any errors, post the entire text of the error message. And technically there are no "official" servers. Servers are owned by the server owners and anyone can own a server and have it listed on the server list.

HOW to do so that only players whom i choose may spawn on my server?

Like on the GU match servers?
There you must speak to a GU admin who adds you to a global group which has the SPAWN and TALK perms.
EVERYONE does NOT have SPAWN and TALK perms.

you must create a bzbb group for that, and adding that only that group may have those privillidges (talk and spawn), and not "every one"

you need to crate groups and add "-spawn" to the groups u dont want to spawn and add "spawn" to the groups u want to be able to spawn. you dont need global groups, you can use local groups too

Or you could just not make the server public and distribute the IP address directly to the people you want playing...

Or you could get a domain host... like no-ip.com so you don't have to remember an IP address...

A Meteorite used to use bzflag.bounceme.net and that was from no-ip.com... you could always use something else too... I find them very good though...

(Meteorite doesn't use his anymore... I still use mine and I don't want ppl access to my computer... I have PHP scripts I run that have security holes in them... big ones)

wow, u must REALLY dont want people accesing ur computer. and janis, it would help to tell us what method ur using...
