LaserMania Party!
Hey, we all know Lasermania has a lot of fans, but it's rarely at the top of the list.
Tonight will be different.
Everyone make an effort to come to lasermania whenever you are free this evening.
Let's see how long we can keep the server at the top of the list!

Well, the evening seems to have been a success. I got distracted by mySQL which was being a pita so I was not there as much as I would have liked.
I did, however, in the short time that I was there, invent a new sport.
It's called track jumping, here's how to do it:
Jump up onto the track that goes over the middle towards the enemy base. Turn back so that you are facing halfway between your base and the other track. Now, jump full speed forward and turn as hard as you can at the same time. You need to turn 180° so that you can jump right back from the other track.
If you start right you can just hold down the Up key, either Right of Left key and your Jump key - or if you use the mouse, keep it in one corner and hold the jump key.
It doesn't matter which way you turn, you should go through 180° either way.
You can adjust yourself slightly when you land but you must jump again within half a second.
I got over 20 successful jumps before I was killed, on one occasion.
I'll probably call another party soon, maybe this weekend, then we can all have a go at it.

Ok, I'd like to call for another party tonight, Lets aim for about 11pm UTC and onwards.
East coast USA is 4 hours behind UTC, so that's 7PM for you folks. West USA is another 3 hours behind that, so 4PM for you.
Europe is mostly UTC+2 or UTC+3, so it's late for you guys, I am afreaid, 1 or 2 AM and onwards.
Feel free to turn up early and stay late.
Bring your friends - spread the word.
