Windows 7 Crash Problem

Post by pooper »

I am running Windows 7 32 bit on a Lenovo W500 with an ATI Mobility FireGL V5700 graphics card. BZFlag seemingly randomly crashes, usually within five minutes of when I start playing. I can't connect the crashes to any specific event, so I don't even know where to start reporting a bug. I guess I'm just wondering if there are any known problems or easy fixes I could try.

the first thing to check is if you have the current video driver for your chipset from ATI or Lenovo, use whatever is the newest version

I have the driver right before the most recent one because for some reason the newest one crashes continuously. I just reinstalled Linux after reimaging to 7, so now I can play BZFlag here, but for some reason I can't change the game's brightness. Computers are dumb.
