Mousebox works only partially

Sometimes when I start bzflag mouse controls allow only to move forward or to turn left. Backwords moving and right turning don't work. I have to restart bzflag, sometimes several times to make them working again.
64 bit ubuntu, bzflag 2.0.16 and 2.3

Check to see if you have a "set geometry" line in your configuration file. If you do, remove it and see if it works better.

I have the exact same problem with Ubuntu. When I toggle windowed/fullscreen by hitting f1 twice the problem goes away. Not sure what causes it.

There was none so I've added. I'm not sure, but it seems the problem is gone.

I understood, but it was never in my config. I added it two days ago and since then there has been no occurrence of that bug. Dunno if it actually helped.
