Maps with large teleporters run jerky

Post by isfry » Fri Jan 31, 2003 2:44 pm

Let me start off by saying this was run on a windows server with 3 windows clients so that might be the problem right there. Anyway back the problem I created a map with 4 large teleporters 395 wide 60 high no border they were place around the edges. When ever you fired a shot the game became so jerky that you could not play has any one else ever noticed that?

well I made a map with just the big teleporters and it ran fine but on these 2 maps I have had problems I will post links here to look at I might of made some mistake but the stadium map ran fine before I added them

Blank map with teles that ran fine

what are the "issues". we need more then "didn't run ok".

Do you have low framerate issues in areas of the map? If so what parts of the map?

remember we can't read your mind.

well i guess it was more of a low frame rate but only when you fired a shot it worked fine when you drive around it but then to slowed down when you started firing shots. the whoneedsoo.map ran fine on a linux server and windows clients but 17g1 clients randomaly locked up on it
